The size selection of the EEG Cap is usually done via a supplied tape measure. With the help of the color sections, the size can be determined very easily.
The gel is applied with a commercially available syringe (with an applicator attachment) under the slightly raised electrode. For this, Abrasive Plus from OneStep should be used. Scratching, as well as the usual and often painful twisting of a wooden stick on the scalp for impedance improvement is not necessary.
The electrode layout is compatible with most EEG devices, especially with the Brainmaster Discovery systems.
The maintenance of the EEG Comby-Caps is very simple: After use, simply place in some hand sanitizer with lukewarm water. Then rinse under running water. Dry the cap with a cotton towel or hang it up to dry. The EEG Caps are particularly suitable for frequent use, since there are virtually no drying times.
