TThe new multimedia player VR developed by IFEN Neuroscience is a unique novelty, which so far is only available at Neurofeedback-Partner. Together with his developers, Thomas Feiner has managed for the first time to use movies in VR for neurofeedback. An Oculus Quest 2 serves as an extended medium for playing media files. Among other things, users have the option of using all video content via YouTube. The VR experience is particularly intense: You sit virtually in a movie theater and watch movies on a huge screen. Nature films in high 4K resolution are particularly beautiful.
Virtual reality creates special stimuli for neurofeedback.
VR creates its own space, you feel like in a cinema with a big screen
VR reduces the distraction from the environment
VR provides a more intensive access to the feedback
VR is a very attractive feedback. It is therefore very well accepted, both by children and adults.
Combination of different feedbacks possible, like vibrotactile feedback at the same time
Possibilities of IFEN multimedia player:
YouTube videos can be played in zoom and dimmer mode. We recommend you to have a YouTube account so that no advertisements disturb you. Videos can also be viewed with sound modulation (louder/quieter).
Questions and answers:
What devices are supported?
Oculus Quest 2 (Meta Quest) and Oculus Go.
Do I need a Facebook account to do this?
Yes - you need a free Facebook account to do this.
Can the VR experience cause nausea?
This is possible if, for example, the zoom distance was set very far during zoom feedback. The "Dimmer" mode avoids this risk
