The Comby Cap with Ohm-Pads is a versatile EEG cap designed for fast setup, high user comfort, and easy maintenance. Instead of traditional gel or paste, this system uses moistened sponge pads (Ohm-Pads) that are inserted into dedicated electrode holders. Recommended Use:

Before the session, simply moisten the Ohm-Pads with isotonic saline solution or distilled water. Insert them into the electrode holders – that’s it. Depending on the duration and environment, the pads can be re-moistened as needed.

The size selection of the EEG Cap is usually done via a supplied tape measure. With the help of the color sections, the size can be determined very easily.

The gel is applied with a commercially available syringe (with an applicator attachment) under the slightly raised electrode. For this, Abrasive Plus from OneStep should be used. Scratching, as well as the usual and often painful twisting of a wooden stick on the scalp for impedance improvement is not necessary.
The electrode layout is compatible with most EEG devices, especially with the Brainmaster Discovery systems.
